Description

Brand new to the market. Albula (Genus name for Bonefish) is custom shallow draft cruiser built in Wanchese, Outer Banks, North Carolina. She was designed by renowned naval architect Glen Haught and built to an extremely high standard by Blackwell Boatworks and Haught and Associates right here in the USA. Built initially for the shallow banks of the Bahamas, she is equally at home in the shoal waters of the US east coast and would make an excellent Great Circle Looper. After being shipped to the North West she has cruised the round trip from Seattle to Juneau 5 times on her own bottom. The owner is now retiring from boating, and Albula is ready for her new owners. This pilot house cruiser is arguably in a class by herself. She is a rare combination of practicality, elegance, fuel efficiency and unmistakable head turning looks. She cruises economically averaging 7.5-8.0 knots burning only 1.5-2.0 gallons per hour, giving her a 2,500 mile plus range. This is one of the most functional, high-quality, and engineered two-stateroom 59’ motor yachts in existence. The simplicity of the single John Deere diesel paired with the Vetus bow thruster ensure safe passage-making in the skinniest of waters. While cruising aboard Albula, you will find she is easy and fun to operate, quiet running, smooth-riding, and fuel-efficient, making for one of the greatest pleasures of owning a boat of this quality. Perfect for a cruising couple and a fabulous loop boat.
