Replacing the very popular 55' Super Sport in 1991, the 53' Super Sport was built on an all-new Ocean hull designed with a sharper entry and slightly increased transom deadrise. The hull changes make the Ocean 53' a generally better headsea boat than her predecessor with a notable dryer ride. Fish-N-Itis Is a very good example of just how well a 24-year-old boat can look and perform when properly cared for. She has had continuous attention with multiple upgrades from her current owner of 19 years. From the fresh paint to the new interior to the rebuilt Caterpillar 3406 engines very little was overlooked and it shows.
