When Lagoon designed this 42 they hit the exact sweet spot for couples cruising. They made best use of the busiest living space: the main salon and cockpit. They made dinghy access, launch and storage easy. They moved the mast aft to make the main sail more manageable, and to provide for a big, self-tacking genoa. The U-shaped galley, excellent anchor access, easy and safe boom access, and many other details are top priorities on a cruiser’s wish list.
