Description

Built in Port Townsend Washington this well kept ocean crosser is traditional in style, comfortable in a seaway or at the dock drawing admiration where ever she sails. Cape George Yachts founded by New Zealander Cecil Lange in 1974 is known for building hand crafted classics, timeless, bullet proof, and beautiful. This is a William Atkins design dating from the 1930s that was modified and adapted to fiberglass by Ed Monk. The design is a classic long keel and short overhang resulting in a long water line. You have a boat with above average speeds yet very sea-kindly motion and a very strong construction. The perfect blue water combination and a wonderful blend of classic and modern. The interior is warm wood construction of teak, Port Orford cedar and mahogany.
