There were a number of refits completed throughout her life which included a “brilliant white” paint job, a full overhaul of the engines, addition of a vetus bow thruster and Naiad stabilsers, Phasor generator, and interior updates (finishes, soft goods, countertops, appliances, etc.). This yacht has been retrofitted to be completely wheel-chair accessible: a customized davit and ramp to the aft deck or flybridge, an elevator from the salon down to the private master, electric hospital bed with inverter and battery backup system, ceiling track hoist for the master head, etc. For someone with disabilities, this Hatteras is ready to go! If not needed, the master stateroom can be easily reconverted back to a king-berth configuration, and elevator lift changed back to walk-in closet.
